A five-day performance intensive camp in which students learn and perform top hits from the 90s.
The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s summer camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
This five day performance intensive camp explores the world of Punk Goes Pop, a project started by Fearless Records. Learn a few punk covers of pop songs by artists like Pierce the Veil playing Bruno Mars, Set It Off playing Ariana Grande, and STATE CHAMPS playing Shawn Mendes. After you learn how other artists turn pop songs into punk, work with your bandmates and instructors to arrange your own Punk Goes Pop song! The camp concludes in a band performance of all songs learned that week. Recommended for intermediate-advanced musicians.
