Rock 101 camp is for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience needed. Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities.
Join the band....no experience necessary! Rock 101 camp is the perfect starting point for students age 7-11 who are taking their very first steps on their instruments. They'll join a band with as many as six other students and work on a great variety of simple-but-awesome tunes over the course of a week. That week will culminate in a LIVE performance by the campers onsite at SoR St. Paul!
Note: this is the AFTERNOON session! Each Rock 101 camp has two sessions - morning and afternoon. The afternoon session will begin at 12:30p and go until 3:30p, Monday through Friday.
Experience Level: This camp is for beginners and we don't require an assessment for any student who is between the ages of 7 and 11. If you have a student who is outside that age range, or if you would just like to have your student sit down with an instructor at the school before their camp, we'll be more than happy to schedule an assessment for you at no charge! Assessments are offered at no charge and can be done in-person at the school or online via Zoom.
You can book your appointment by calling us at 651.292.1917 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Social Distancing: While we can't predict the future, we do expect that there will still be some form of COVID-related restrictions in place for our programs during the summer of 2021. These restrictions may include mask requirements, maximum head counts for camps, and other policies. You will receive an email from us two weeks in advance of your camp with the applicable social distancing rules at that time. We adhere strictly to the guidelines released by the MN Department Of Health, and compliance with these policies is mandatory for all campers. If you have questions about our social distancing policies, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Cancellation: Campers may cancel registration in exchange for a full refund up to three weeks before the start date of their camp. Camps which are cancelled within three weeks of their start date will be refunded as account credits, which can be applied to any lessons/classes/services at the school. Camps which are cancelled within one week of their start date are eligible for a 75% refund, in the form of an account credit. In the event that a camp is cancelled by the school for any reason, all campers will receive a 100% refund immediately.
