Jack Frost Music Director, General Manager
Jack Frost is the guitarist/founder of the heavy metal band Seven Witches and also a part of The Bronx Casket Company. Frost is also known for playing guitar on Savatage's tour in support of Poets and Madmen in 2001 and 2002. He also played in a New Jersey-based cover band called Diesel, which features Taz Marazz of Seven Witches, Mike Lepond of Symphony X on bass and Jim Pepe on lead vocals. Jack has been inspiring students at Tenafly School of Rock and Somerville School of Rock for years and has directed very high energy shows for his students.
Andy Prasa Guitar Teacher, Piano Teacher, Singing Teacher
Andy Prasa is a 28-year-old singer/songwriter, guitarist and pianist from Hillsborough, NJ. He is a Berklee College of Music alumni from 2012-2015 studying under funk guitarist Tomo Fujita and Manhattan vocal coach Mark Baxter. He just recently released a new original album with Grammy Award-winning producer Tom Camuso in Brooklyn featuring John Medeski on piano (Medeski, Martin & Wood) and drummer Shawn Pelton ("Saturday Night Live" drummer). He also recently released a new live music video featuring Shawn Pelton on drums and Jeff Beigel (Macy Gray) on bass.
Mark Mayer Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Singing Teacher
Mark Mayer first picked up the guitar at the age of 12, and by age 13 he was already playing in a local band. Since then Mark has earned a BA in Music, played for several local and regional acts handling bass guitar/backing vocals and functioned as a stage manager. When not working with his current band, Mark performs as a solo acoustic performer in local venues and for private events. He also runs a weekly open mic, as well as a monthly showcase down the Jersey shore. An avid Beatles fan, Paul McCartney was the inspiration for Mark to pick up the guitar and is still the biggest influence for Mark's musical style and direction.
Tom Frustieri Drum Teacher
Tom Frustieri is a professional drummer/musician from New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies and Performance from William Paterson University's prestigious Jazz Performance program. Tom has been a private drum instructor for over 30 years, with concentration on all styles of drumming as applied to the drum set. Some of his students have gone on to attend some of the finest univesrity music programs in the country.
Tom performs all over the world with several tribute bands, including Slippery When Wet (Bon Jovi), Head Games and Double Vision (Foreigner) and Rubicon (Journey). Tom also plays with original artists and composers, including Peter Baron (Mountain, Leslie West) and his new original band, Love n Revenge, which has been opening for many international artists in the U.S. and Canada. Tom has performed with members of The Who, Deep Purple, Kiss, Night Ranger, Alice in Chains and many more.
Robbie Skorge Guitar Teacher, Piano Teacher
Robbie Skorge is a multi-instrumentalist performer, teacher and composer from Somerville, NJ. His main instrument is keyboards, which he actively plays with the bands Ross Griswold and the Second Line, Woke Robot, Wig Party, Castle Lane and more, spanning genres from rock, funk, New Orleans and R&B to Afro-Peruvian jazz fusion and electronic music. He’s also the music director for Antioch Baptist Church in East Orange, NJ.
Actively using Ableton Live to perform and compose, he is a sought-after music programming guru, able to teach and solve complex audio and midi setups for live bands and music producers. This is in addition to teaching piano, drums, guitar and bass. He enjoys teaching multi-instrument students to share overlapping concepts among the different instruments, and helps students record their own musical projects. Some of his music has been featured on Comedy Central, and he hosts a funk and jam band jam at Roxy and Duke’s in Dunellen, NJ every second Thursday of the month.
Justin Pollinger Vocal Instructor
Justin Pollinger is a vocal coach, singer and educator based in Jersey City. Justin has spent years studying under some of the best vocal coaches in New York and New Jersey at the Manhattan School of Music and The Juilliard School. Justin has learned the fundamentals of choral conducting, vocal technique, music theory, ear training and repertoire selection, and was a member of the award-winning Edison High School choir, the NNJ All-State Choir.
Justin has been teaching since 2007. His students have been accepted to some of the top music programs in the country, including the Westminster Choir College, Boston Conservatory and Mason Griss School of Arts. Through teaching he feels he can better prepare the musicians of the future in al aspects. He is a vocal instructor at School of Rock Somerville.
