Our Experienced Music Teachers
All of School of Rock Snellville’s music teachers are experienced musicians devoted to helping students attain musical proficiency. Our instructors guide students one-on-one to personalize learning, inspire confidence and build social skills.
Diamond Henderson Vocal Instructor
Diamond Henderson is a New York native born in a musically talented family. She grew up seeing her father perform as a musician. Diamond has always been mentored by her mother, who’s known for her soprano voice, vocal coaching and songwriting abilities. Some of Diamond’s musical knowledge can be credited to Augusta State University and the Atlanta Institute of Music. Currently, she is a local pop/R&B artist who can also makes her living as a studio session singer. Her biggest inspirations are Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Usher, and she hopes to one day become a world renowned entertainer just like them. She is a vocal instructor at School of Rock Snellville.
Greg Washington Drum Teacher
Greg Washington is a drum teacher at School of Rock Snellville and has extensive experience with gigging and instruction. Greg has credits for drumming on the multi-platinum Outkast album "Stankonia," and has worked with several other major touring artists.
Larry Williams Guitar Teacher
Larry Williams is one of our beloved guitar teachers at School of Rock Snellville, who was born into a musical family. He’s been playing guitar, bass and piano since childhood. One of his joys has always been teaching younger people how to play music to keep the tradition of live performance alive. His favorite rock era is the 50s and 60s, with emphasis on The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Priye Fubara Drum Teacher, Piano Teacher
Priye Fubara is a multi-instrumentalist who focuses on drums. He originally picked up a pair of sticks at the age of two and fell in love instantly. He got his start drumming in church but has since then gone on to play for multiple recording artists, and is currently a regularly gigging musician. He is a drum teacher and piano teacher at School of Rock Snellville.
Linda Levine Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Piano Teacher
Linda Levine is a School of Rock Snellville guitar teacher, bass guitar teacher and piano teacher, who literally does it all because she also works at the School of Rock located in Buckhead. Linda is a multi-talented musician who gigs constantly and plays with several bands, including a tribute to the legendary Heart.
Dave James Guitar Teacher, Piano Teacher
Dave James is a guitar teacher and piano teacher at School of Rock Snellvile who's a true treasure. Dave has been gigging for years and has played with countless bands and artists. He's a multi-genre artist who plays traditional rock as well as jazz, folk and Americana. He's currently working on his own EP.
Brad Rear Drum Teacher
Brad Rear is a drum teacher at School of Rock Snellville and has been playing music since he was five years old. He’s played the drums for 12 years, and has played in several bands ranging in genre from punk to metal. He also played in drum line and marching band in school. He writes and produces music during his down time.
Billy McCullough Guitar Teacher
Billy McCullough is a guitar teacher at School of Rock Snellville and actively plays with several of Atlanta's best known rock bands. Billy plays in Blizzard of Oz, an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band that plays gigs all over the US throughout the year, as well as Pitboss.
Casey Higgins Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Casey Higgins is a guitar teacher and bass guitar teacher at School of Rock Snellville, who touts an extensive list of gigging and performance experience. While in high school, three of his songs were featured on NPR and he even performed at the famous Bluebird Café in Nashville. He plays a wide range of styles and even has two books published (about how music fits together and how to make a solid foundation to build your own music on!).
Abiye Fubara Music Director
Abiye Fubara has been raised around music his entire life. He began taking lessons on drums at the young age of three. Over the years he acquired a deeper love for music and began to pursue piano and bass guitar. After graduating from Catawba College with a degree in Music Business, he began a career in teaching and gigging in the Atlanta area. He is currently an aspiring producer, professional gigging and recoding musician, co-owner and audio engineer for Session 9 (a media platform for local artist) and current Music Director for School of Rock Snellville.
Matthew Jinks Drum Teacher
Matthew Jinks is a technically trained musician with 35 years of teaching and performing experience. Originally from Pittsburg, Matthew moved to Atlanta in 1998 and has been doing everything from working with high school marching bands and drum cores, to playing in several bands, churches and giving private lessons. He’s versed in concert band, marching band, orchestra and jazz, as well as several variations of rock and soul drumming. He is a drum teacher at School of Rock Snellville.
