With a whole new lineup of shows, there is something for everyone. Rehearsals will start on the week of January 28th, and the performance will take place the weekend of June 22nd at the legendary Bitter End in New York City. Read below to find out which show is best for you!

From the classics to today, Rock 101 covers it all! This show, perfect for students ages 7-10, will cover the entire rock and roll spectrum.
rehearsals: thursdays 6pm-8:30pm or saturdays, 10:30am-1:00pm
When you think hard rock, this should be the first band that comes to mind. AC/DC is arguably rock & roll’s LOUDEST bands!! It’s all about sick guitar riffs, thunderous bass lines, big drums and stratospheric vocals. Of course no one can deny that Jack Black was inspired by Angus Young in his Role for School of Rock the movie!

Start practicing “Smoke on the Water” and “Highway Star” we’re doing a Deep Purple show!
Deep Purple is an English rock band, first started in the 60’s. This band is one of the pioneers of Heavy Metal, and is part of the “unholy trinity of British hard rock and heavy metal” of the 1970’s. The most popular lineup of this band features Ian Gillen on vocals, Jon Lord on keyboards, Roger Glover on bass, Ian Paice on drums and Ritchie Blackmore on guitar. They were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

Grab your snapbacks and your Game Boy Colors, we’re time traveling back to the 90’s! This show will feature bands from all over the spectrum, including Grunge bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and other bands such as Weezer, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M and more.
IRON MAIDEN VS. JUDAS PRIEST

Two of the most popular English heavy metal bands combined in one show? Yup, you read that right!
Iron Maiden was formed in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris, and have a discography of thirty-eight albums. If you don’t know their music, you definitely know their mascot, Eddie.
Judas Priest was formed in 1969, and is highly regarded as one of the greatest metal bands of all times. In 1980, they released British Steel, which helped shoot them to rock superstar status. Although the band has seen many members, guitarist Glenn Tipton and bassist Ian Hill appear on every album.

Not just the title of one of Billy Joel’s most popular hits, but a show entirely dedicated to New York-based bands and artists! Get ready to perform the music of Billy Joel, The Strokes, Talking Heads, Taking Back Sunday, Steely Dan, Kiss, Beastie Boys, Blue Oyster Cult, Brand New, Living Colour and more.
