Bass Guitar Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Mitch Fraser

Mitch Fraser Bass Guitar Teacher, Guitar Teacher

Mitch was born in Regina and has lived there his whole life. While he does not come from a very musical family, his parents always had music playing through the house, and the soundtrack for any family trip was arguably just as important as the trip itself. He played saxophone in school band for a couple years, but it was when he got his first bass at 13 that he really fell in love with music. His older brother had started playing guitar just before him and was in a band, so he watched and learned as much as he could. After a few years of playing bass, he started playing guitar to write music for a band he started with some friends and eventually his brother joined as well. From there they played around Regina as much as they could. The more shows they played, the more music they wrote, the more fun they had. At that point, he started learning the basics of live sound and began to focus on recording. In 2003 he recorded their first demo under the band name Chemical Horizon which was followed up by a full length album in 2005. Since then his appreciation for music of all genres has only grown. Whether he's playing hard rock in Room 333, acoustic rock/pop/hip-hop covers with King For A Day, or recording with other artists and friends, it's always a great time when there is music.
