Sierra Rae has a passion for music that derives from her early childhood. Her mom earned a Masters degree in Vocal Pedagogy, and has been teaching in Universities for over 20 years - so Sierra began learning the art from a very young age. Growing up she was taught classical fundamentals both in piano and vocals. At the age of twelve, she branched out and began exploring other genres such as classic rock, R&B/soul, metal, jazz, and even more classical. She attended Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts in high school, focusing on music theory, composition, and piano. Being in a very musically active family, Sierra and her cousin Nick Petty started the soul/funk band Harlem Shuffle in 2010. They went on to gig and perform all over Utah, record demos and rough tracks, and were eventually invited to attend the NAMM Battle of the Bands in Anaheim, CA. There they won third place overall, and Sierra won Best Vocalist in the competition. After a few years, Harlem Shuffle disbanded due to members going off to music school. Sierra got certified as a Vocal Instructor through BAST Teaching Course with Lisa Haulpert, and began instructing keyboards and vocals at School of Rock Sandy in 2012. There she met Zakkary Hale, frontman/lead guitarist/vocalist for Melodramus. At first, she collaborated and performed on Zakk's brother The Rose Phantom's albums. Zakkary then asked her to join Melodramus as the keyboardist and co-vocalist. She also contributes guitar parts and has written several songs for the band. They moved from Salt Lake City to Seattle as a band in 2015 to embrace the flourishing music scene and are gearing up to record their third full length CD/LP album with producer/engineer Matt Winegar (Primus, Coheed and Cambria, Faith No More). Sierra thoroughly loves what she does and enjoys sharing the magic of music with many other aspiring musicians.

Amanda is a vocalist and pianist who recently moved to the Seattle area with her husband from Santa Rosa, CA and before that from Lewisville, TX. From a young age Amanda has had a love for music ever since she first watched her dad play the bass guitar. Growing up she watched her father play in several bands and write music which inspired her to become a musician. So in middle school she decided to join choir and learned how to perform with a group of people. In high school she made the chamber choir and her studies started branching out into ear training and music theory. Through music theory she began to teach herself the piano. After graduating from high school, Amanda went onto to study music at Tarleton State University where she began to take private music lessons and delved further into understanding vocal techniques and how to apply them to her music. Throughout her years at Tarleton she performed in many recitals, sang for the Jazz One band, performed on a Mini tour for a class called "Music with a Message", which focused on the study of political songs, musical groups and wrote protest songs for this class. She also organized her Junior and Senior Recitals and composed a few songs to perform for her Senior Recital. For a Senior project, she also composed an A’Capella piece for the Womens Choir. After graduating from Tarleton State University with her Bachelors in the spring of 2013, she obtained a job with Matt Burk Music Studio in Frisco, Tx where she taught Voice lessons for two years, helped students with performances by playing piano for them and singing harmonies, as well as help with the studios Jam Sessions. In March of 2015, Amanda married her Husband Bryan and in June moved to California to be with him. After moving to Santa Rosa California, Amanda was able to get a job teaching at Art and Soul Music Studios teaching private Voice, beginning Piano lessons, and a Music Theory class built for young children called Music Fun Time. There at Art and Soul she helped with the students performances, subbed for teachers and was in charge of the music portion of their summer camps in 2016. Amanda has taught a variety of ages from 4 to 46 and is comfortable with teaching anyone! She is really looking forward joining the School of Rock family and can’t wait to teach!

Samantha Ungeheier, born and raised in Southern California, recently moved to Washington for a change in scenery and for new experiences. Ever since her father took her to her first Rock concert when she was fourteen (to see the legendary Ronnie James Dio perform), she knew that she was hooked to that particular genre of music for the rest of her life. With her working background with children and young adults as both a volunteer at a Kindergarden/Preschool and as a Karate Instructor, and her administrative and sales experience, the School of Rock Studio Coordinator position is just the job for her. Samantha is delighted to join the School of Rock ensemble and work with a group of people who are equally as passionate about music as she is.
