Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 camp is designed for beginners 8-12 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.
All aspects of this camp Monday through Friday will be held at School of Rock Naperville - 220 N. Washington St, Naperville, IL 60540. The camp will conclude with an all-ages performance for friends and family on Friday. The performance will take place at our school with a small audience as allowed by then current COVID regulation. A live stream will be made available so that an unlimited audience of friends and family may watch from the safety and comfort of their homes.

Guitar and bass students are to bring their instrument. Vocalists must bring their own microphone. Drummers must bring their own sticks. All students will need a pair of earplugs, tuner where applicable, and water bottle. Students are welcome to purchase all items elsewhere and bring with them to camp. For convenience, most items can be purchased @ SoR on day one of camp if desired or arranged ahead of time to be ready at the school upon arrival. Look for a welcome email prior to camp with details and pricing of products available.
The cost to rent a guitar is a $65 flat fee for the entire week of camp. This will be charged to the student’s account on the first day of camp. Availability can only be guaranteed if you confirm with us no later than two weeks prior to the start of camp. - Rental Includes: Electric Guitar, Guitar Strap, Gig Bag
- Students will receive their rental guitar the first day of camp and return it on the last day of camp.
- Students are allowed to bring their guitar home each evening for home practice.
- Any guitar returned damaged will incur an additional $75 damage fee charged to each student's tuition account
- Any instrument not returned on the last day of camp will result in the student being charged the full price of the rented equipment ($250).
The health and safety of our students is our top priority. If School of Rock needs to cancel a camp for any reason, a full refund or credit will be issued. If you need to cancel a camp for any reason, a full refund or credit will be issued for camps cancelled up to 30 days prior to the camp start date.
