Trevor Luthy Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Piano Teacher, Singing Teacher, Drum Teacher
Trevor started in music as a piano student at age seven. He quickly moved on to playing guitar and drums, joining his youth group band at the age of 13. Trevor joined a band with his friends as a freshman in high school and went on to record three albums, do a national tour and play all over Texas opening for bands such as Chevelle, etc. As an adult, he joined a cover band on the side and has played lots of shows all around the Houston area. He loved his time working as a touring musician, but decided to make a change for his own personal growth. In 2013, Trevor had the honor of singing the national anthem at a Houston Dynamo professional soccer game. As an instructor at School of Rock, Trevor's positive energy is reflected in the love his students have for him and his teaching style. He enjoys all different types of music, being influenced by bands such as Muse, Incubus, Silver Chair and Umphrey's McGee. Trevor's actually a lefty but prefers to play guitar and bass as a righty.
Sarah Verastegui General Manager
Sarah began her musical career at the age of seven after going so far as creating a construction paper violin just to have the opportunity to play the instrument. She continued her musical training in middle school, joining the school choir and going on to be accepted into the local children's chorus. She has had the opportunity to perform at the Grand Opening of the Hobby Center and with Josh Groban at the 38th Super Bowl held in Houston. As an adult, she performed vocals and keys with a Christian rock band for five years. Her musical influences range from Josh Groban, Lindsey Sterling to the Foo Fighters and Aerosmith.
Brian Rowe Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Drum Teacher, Piano Teacher
Brian has been playing music for over 14 years. He started his musical journey because he just loves music. He is the former guitarist for The Scooter Brown Band and is currently in The Lime Traders. He has toured locally with The Lime Traders and nationally with The Scooter Brown Band. He has opened up for Lynyrd Skynyrd and Charlie Daniels. He has played at Blue Bird in Nashville, Bridgestone Arena, House of Blues, NRG Arena and Minute Maid Park. Brian enjoys any music with soul.
Adriene Bible Singing Teacher, Piano Teacher
Adriene Bible is a graduate of Kingwood High School. She attended Prairie View A&M University, where she was a member of the Concert Chorale, as well as a founding member of the PV Singers small ensemble. While attending PVAMU, Adriene had the privilege to perform at some of Houston's finest venues, including Jones Hall, The Hobby Center and Miller Outdoor Theatre. She had the distinct honor of being chosen to represent PVAMU at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC as a part of the HBCU Honor Choir, The 105 Voices of History. Adriene continued her studies at The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she received her degree in Vocal Performance. Coming from a musical family, Adriene has been singing and playing piano since she was eight years old and has loved rock and jazz just as long. Some of her favorite artists include Whitney Houston, Coldplay, Snarky Puppy, Joe Sample and Robert Glasper just to name a few. Adriene is currently a member of the Houston Choral Society.
Sadie Williams Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Drum Teacher
Sadie began her musical journey at the age of 10 when she first heard the album "Led Zeppelin II." Soon after, she received her very first electric guitar from a local music store, Andrew's Music, where she now works also. She is completely self-taught and has been playing music for over 11 years. She has been in several local groups throughout the years and has even met some cool rockstars along the way, including Ozzy Osbourne and Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin.
She is currently in two bands that perform all over the Houston area, The Kaleidoscope Project and The Adequate. She specializes in guitar but is notable for being able to play many other instruments as well as teach them, including bass, mandolin, dulcimer, ukulele, keyboard and drums. Sadie's favorite bands and artists include Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Robin Trower, KISS, ZZ Top, Pat Travers, AC/DC, Mountain and so many more.
Kat O'Brien Studio Coordinator
Kat started her musical journey in grade school, where she first joined choir. From there, she actually became a student at School of Rock and graduated out of the program. She plays bass for a local band called The Kaleidoscope Project and tours around Houston. Kat's favorite bands are Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, The Clovers and Vulfpeck.
Kyle Weitzel Drum Teacher
Kyle has been playing music for 15 years and only professionally for the last four. He got his start in percussion in the sixth grade and continued into high school, playing in marching and orchestral band. After obtaining his Bachelors in Business he found that his true passion had always been music. From there, he joined a group of guys he went to high school with as a roadie and traveled all around Texas and surrounding states. Shortly after, he paired up with a locally known musician, Shayne Porter, where he found his voice as a backing vocalist and percussionist. Soon after, he was introduced to the The Lime Trader Band and they have been touring locally for about three years, opening up for bands such as The New Offenders and Folk Family Revival. Kyle's advice to any musician, no matter where they are in your musical journey, is to never give up chasing your dream of becoming a working musician.
