He loved his time working as a touring musician, but decided to make a change for his own personal growth. In 2013, Trevor had the honor of singing the national anthem at a Houston Dynamo professional soccer game. As an instructor at School of Rock, Trevor's positive energy is reflected in the love his students have for him and his teaching style. He enjoys all different types of music, being influenced by bands such as Muse, Incubus, Silver Chair and Umphrey's McGee. Trevor's actually a lefty but prefers to play guitar and bass as a righty.

Kyle WeitzelDrum Teacher

Kyle has been playing music for 15 years and only professionally for the last four. He got his start in percussion in the sixth grade and continued into high school, playing in marching and orchestral band. After obtaining his Bachelors in Business he found that his true passion had always been music. From there, he joined a group of guys he went to high school with as a roadie and traveled all around Texas and surrounding states. Shortly after, he paired up with a locally known musician, Shayne Porter, where he found his voice as a backing vocalist and percussionist. Soon after, he was introduced to the The Lime Trader Band and they have been touring locally for about three years, opening up for bands such as The New Offenders and Folk Family Revival. Kyle's advice to any musician, no matter where they are in your musical journey, is to never give up chasing your dream of becoming a working musician.
