School of Rock Young Rocker’s camps are "amped up" versions of our Rock 101 Program! * No experience necessary * Space is limited.
Camp runs Monday - Friday.
Summer Camps are the perfect "amped up" version of our Rock 101 Program where kids not only enhance their musical abilities, but also have a great time and make some new friends as well!
Camps will start at 9:30 am each day and end at 3:30 pm, except on Friday afternoon when we have our show. Please be at the school by 9:30 am and pick up promptly at 3:30 pm as we open the school up for regular lessons at 3:30 pm (except on Monday when we are closed). There will be a performance Friday afternoon at a nearby venue - Be prepared to be blown away!!!
Each camper should arrive in an appropriate face mask (required) and have a lunch and snacks packed with them - we do not have any food or water available at the school.
For the lunch break, we are walking down to Pan Pacific park and eating outside to ensure a safer environment.
Guitarists need to bring a guitar/pick/strap, bassists a bass/strap, singers a microphone, and drummers sticks. Everything else including amps and cables will be provided here at the School.
Here is what a typical day of camp looks like: Depending on the total number of kids, we will be splitting into “bands” of 5, and each group will learn between 4-6 songs in just a week, depending on how much they can handle as a band. At the end of the week, the kids will perform a live rock concert Friday around 1:00pm for friends and family!
The set list will be decided Monday morning after all the kids have been introduced to each other and the staff. We will do our best to gauge what the kids like most and what will help each of them progress the most as musicians.
If you would like to sign up for some lessons before camp starts, or you have any questions just give us a call at (323) 999-1919 or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
