PLAY MUSIC WITH OTHER teen MUSICIANS across america
Concerts Across America is a uniquely-School of Rock project wherein teen musicians from across America come together in a remote environment to learn together, record together and host a streaming concert at the end fo the project week.
Participants learn, practice and record their songs Monday - Thursday in preparation of a Friday streaming concert. In addition to learning to play the songs, participants also learn how to use a Digital Audio Workstation to collaborate with other musicians.
There are nine weekly projects to choose from. Seven projects are theme-based cover music projects. Two projects are original songwritign projects in which participants will write and record their original music.
Each project is 5-days (Monday - Friday) 9:00am - 2:45pm Central Time
To participate in Concerts Across Amerca, participants shoul have a basic proficiency on their instrument.
Participants need a device to record their song parts for the creation of a full band recording. This can be as simple as a mobile phone with voice memo recording or a DAW such as GarageBand.
