I think it was Xander Naylor.

Which of the two would you relive if you could?

I think if I could, I'd rather have 20 extra dollars to see some more cool bands! No use living in the past lol!

what is your favorite song to play?

I have a whole set of songs I could listen to forever and never fall out of love with, but recently I've been listening to the tune James Baldwin by Cellular Chaos a lot. Just a rancorous band with a unique feel. 

Which musician, alive or dead, do you wish you could tour with?

What a question! It'd have to be someone I could hang out with and talk to about various things over time. I bet I would have a good time with Cecil Taylor or someone like that.

what is the best part of teaching?

I think seeing someone's light-bulb go off as they grasp something and enjoy it is the most rewarding thing. It's easy to want to guard music because it's so personal, but guiding someone down a path in which they can achieve something and feel it deeply is pretty beautiful and essentially human.
