School of Rock Champion Forest’s music teachers are experienced musicians devoted to helping students attain musical proficiency. From singing to drums to guitar, our Houston music instructors inspire and teach students to perform live.

Adriene BibleSinging Teacher, Piano Teacher

Adriene Bible is a graduate of Kingwood High School. She attended Prairie View A&M University, where she was a member of the Concert Chorale, as well as a founding member of the PV Singers small ensemble. While attending PVAMU, Adriene had the privilege to perform at some of Houston's finest venues, including Jones Hall, The Hobby Center and Miller Outdoor Theatre. She had the distinct honor of being chosen to represent PVAMU at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC as a part of the HBCU Honor Choir, The 105 Voices of History. Adriene continued her studies at The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she received her degree in Vocal Performance. Coming from a musical family, Adriene has been singing and playing piano since she was eight years old and has loved rock and jazz just as long. Some of her favorite artists include Whitney Houston, Coldplay, Snarky Puppy, Joe Sample and Robert Glasper just to name a few. Adriene is currently a member of the Houston Choral Society.

Megan TownsendGeneral Manager

Megan joined School of Rock in January of 2017 as a vocal instructor and became a manager just 10 months later. Since then, she has worked at The Woodlands, Kingwood and Champion Forest locations. Megan has a Bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State in Music, and is currently working towards an Associate's degree in Business. Her passions are singing and playing bass guitar, painting, attending church and spending time with her family.

Rhueban WilliamsGuitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Drum Teacher, Piano Teacher

Rhueban was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and has been playing drums since he was two years old. Later on down the line, he picked up guitar, bass and keys. Rhueban attended Berklee College of Music in 2017 and is into funk, R&B, rock, jazz and pop music. He also listens to a lot of Prince, Michael Jackson and pretty much anything old school.

Angeles MilanGuitar Teacher

Angeles is a guitar and vocalist. She directs Rock 101 and Rookies. Angeles started as a student at School of Rock when she was 18 years old and was hired as a Studio Coordinator soon after. Music is her passion and she couldn't imagine a life without it.

Nick PastranoMusic Director

Nick Pastrano is a multi-instrumentalist, and a recording and international touring artist who jumpstarted his musical career on the classical guitar at 12 years old. By 17, Nick found himself in a band that established themselves in the Houston area, and eventually started branching out into the rest of the country and then some. He has since chosen to focus on establishing himself as more than just a guitarist, but a recording artist who is proficient in the drums, bass, keys and ukulele also. Nick is a passionate teacher whose motto for teaching is 'create great musicians, but better people.' Fun Fact: Nick is the great nephew of Jim Morrison from The Doors.

Austin O'BrienGuitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Piano Teacher, Singing Teacher, Drum Teacher

Austin is a guitar, bass, percussion, keys and vocal instructor with over 10 years of experience. He started teaching at School of Rock Cypress in late 2017 and joined the Champion Forest location approximately a year later. In his free time, Austin actively pursues personal development and studies business marketing. He also creates musical compositions at his home studio.

Ryan WilburnAssistant Music Director

Ryan Wilburn is a musician, songwriter, producer and audio engineer in Houston, Texas. Ryan began his musical journey at age 10, playing percussion for his school's band program. Ryan went on to play in the marching band on drumline and in the wind ensemble all four years of high school at Tomball High. While in high school, Ryan found his love for playing the drum set and music production, sending him off in pursuit of other musicians to form a rock band. Ryan played with a few local bands, in which he was heavily involved with writing and producing. In 2014, Ryan played at the Ziegenbock Music Festival with the Charlie Robinson Band in front of 4,000+ attendees. Shortly after, Ryan went on a monthlong tour around the southeast region of the US with a band known as The Rise of The Broken. While on tour, Ryan met producer and owner of BlackBook Sound Robby Joyner, which began his career working as an audio engineer. Ryan has worked with many local bands in the rock/metal scene but one in particular, Fire From the Gods, is one of his most notable achievements.
