Enrolling Now in Fall Performance Season 2018-2019

  1. Fall/Winter 2018

Rehearsals start the week of 9/22/18!

LED ZEPPELIN THEATRE SHOW: Mondays 5:30-8:30 pm or   Saturdays 2-5 pm.

Join as we Ramble On Dazed and Confused in a Bron-Y-Aur Stomp seeking the answer to What Is and What Should Never Be! From the needle first hitting Good Times Bad Times to the apex of Stairway to Heaven, the band hit the ground running and never disappointed.  Their signature raw-blues heavy sound and insistence on album cuts versus singles took off and left a mark never to be forgotten.  From the hard-rocking era of I, II, III, and IV to the more complex layered compositions of Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti, Presence, and In Through the Out Doors, every phase of Zep will be explored.

This show will feature two rehearsal groups; one on Monday evening and another Saturday afternoon.  Each group will be assigned specific albums to draw their material from.  These groups will have a third performance at Harper College Saturday, January 26, 2019.

THE MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS FROM THE GUARDIANS AND THE GALAXY  Wednesdays 5:30-8:30 pm

Guardians of the Galaxy is a 2014 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. Join us as we make our way through the galaxy to the sounds of Awesome Mix volumes 1 and 2. Tracks ranging from David Bowie to Parliament, and Blue Swede to Cheap Trick. This carefully curated collection is sure to bring down the house.

     MODERN INDIE/ ALT NATION

    Fridays 5:30 pm-8:30 pm

Indie rock is a genre of rock music that originated in the United Kingdom in the 1970s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced.  Indie rock has transmogrified into one of the hardest genres to define. Bands trying to break through love to title themselves as, “indie rock” as though it were a specific sound. Critics love to point back to scions of the underground scene in an attempt to pinpoint when the genre began. This awesome journey to the left of the dial will take us through Arcade Fire, The Shins, The Artic Monkeys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Death Cab for Cutie, The Flaming Lips, Mumford & Sons, and so many more!
