Adam Gomez was born and raised in Southern California, spending most of his childhood in Los Angeles and then moving to the Inland Empire. He grew up surrounded by many cultures and musical backgrounds while maintaining a love for Punk, Metal and Rock n’ Roll.

After starting a Metal band just out of high school, Adam performed live for several years before deciding to earn his degree in drums and percussion from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. After graduating, he landed a gig with iconic Pop/Punk band The Dickies, which are most known for their late 70’s punk sound, being the first California Punk band to appear on national T.V. and their rendition of “Banana Splits” featured in the movie ‘Kick Ass.’ Since then, he has seen most of the world as official drummer for The Dickies. Adam has also recorded, collaborated and performed with artists such as The Adolescents, D.I., The Motel Life, Tommy Peacock and others. “The Dickies have been through many drummers throughout the years, but Adam G had the best audition, by far. He almost had me at hello. Within 30 seconds; I knew he was the guy.” –Stan Lee (Guitarist/Co Creator, The Dickies)

Education was a huge part of kick starting Adam's take-off as a professional musician. After Graduating from M.I., he has been teaching drums in Southern California, touring parts of the world and continuing to hand down the craft of precision, intelligence, ferocity and touch of a professional drummer to the new generations of kids with the desire to make, learn and rock out to the art of music.

Ruben Romano (born June 3, 1969) is a Southern California musician, a multi-
instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. He is perhaps best know as the founding drummer of two influential California bands Fu Manchu & Nebula. Also, for his pyrotechnic follies in lighting a 40” Gong on fire!

He has now stepped forward with an electric guitar in hand and is the lead front man for his current band, The Freeks. Romano has toured the planet, playing drums all over the continental U.S.A, UK, Europe, South America, Australia and also Japan.

He started playing drums at the age of 8 when he stumbled into the room of a friends house only to find a drum set. 5 years later, at 13, took his first formal drum lesson with private instructor Glenn Young. His father knew it was time for lessons when he noticed the dishes and glasses started sounding good when the family went out for Chinese food.

Ruben says of his drum instructor and mentor, “Glenn Young was an amazing session drummer. He played Jazz, Big Band Orchestral and I even saw him sit in with a German Bavarian Polka Band. He could play what ever needed to be played. He taught me the importance of rudimental drumming. The knowledge of technique he bestowed upon me was un-paralleled. I wish I would have paid more attention as I was young and just wanted to rock! So, between Glenn, a pair of headphones and my turntable I was able to combine what I learned technically with what I heard blasting out of the speakers attached to my head.... and nothing else mattered”.

Romano’s first paying gig was in 1985 playing in front of the Capistrano Valley School Board at their Holiday Dinner. He was paid $50 as the drummer for the teacher fronted and student backed band “The Grease Rats”, which started as a Capistrano Valley High School homecoming Pep-Rally Skit and became a staple at every other pep-rally there after. Exposed to his high school peers during the lunch time musical events, the door bell soon rang at his home. A group of older students, some recently graduated, showed up with instruments in tow and asked Romano if he wanted to join in with them. This group of people eventually morphed into Fu Manchu and Romano’s musical career took form.

He has been actively in the music industry ever since as not only a player, but a Manager, Booking Representative and even owns his own Record Label.

      Some quotes by Romano;

“Once a Drummer, ALWAYS a Drummer!”
“The Drums are the Beat of Music as the Heart is the Beat of Life”
“Drums are the foundation for all other musicians to stand upon”
“Your Band is only as good as your Drummer”
“Playing drums first made it easy to teach myself all the other instruments I know how to play”
“Don’t let those Drummer Jokes fool you, you need us!”
      “Rhythm Section Unite!”

I grew up and lived in South Orange County until I went to college to get my Bachelor’s Degree at Oregon State. Upon graduation, I lived in Idaho for a year to spend more time with some of my family from there. I’ve just recently moved back to Southern California to pursue my musical aspirations of teaching, playing, and writing.

I’ve played music for 10 years now. I started out on drums and guitar a little over a decade ago, playing in a classic rock band. We played together for about a year, then took different musical paths as we entered high school.

For my 17th birthday, my mother got me a keyboard. I began making sense of how the keys work together in making up chords and scales by transposing what I’d already known on guitar. Carrying out different rhythms between the 2 hands came pretty easily since I had that part of music sort of hardwired in me from drumming. Needless to say I am a big proponent of learning multiple instruments as learning skills in one instrument can oftentimes transfer over to another quite swiftly.

For the last few years, I’ve collaborated with a good friend in writing songs on piano and guitar in which we are currently in the process of recording and releasing. I also play drums in a band called 92 Split. We only just began playing together this past August, but we’ve already played a few gigs and are about to release our first EP at the beginning of this coming year. It’s all happening very fast and we love it.

Above all, music is so very important to me; I love teaching, learning, creating, hearing, and even just discussing music. I want nothing more than to share this feeling for music with others. I want to see musical students evolve into musical connoisseurs. I feel that everyone should experience how exciting and rewarding it is to be able to not only play an instrument, but to be a part of a band and find your own personality and contribution within it. Music is my favorite part of life; as long as I’m surrounded by others with mindsets in the same boat, I’m where I’m supposed to be.

Renee Sigal or more commonly known as 'Nay Nay,' found her performing arts passion early on in life. The California native's musical zeal was sparked by her mother's position at the famous Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, formerly known as Irvine Meadows.

At just five years old Renee was provided with the exciting opportunity to perform song and dance on the big stage and at that special moment she knew her life aspiration was to become a performer. At three years of age Renee joined performance groups and began private voice lessons. By the age of eight, she performed countless solos in elementary school performances, excelled in honors choir and was an active member of the Advanced Ladies and Chamber Choir at Aliso Niguel High School under the direction of the talented Tom Flannery.

In Renee's early high school days, she worked behind the scenes managing street teams for bands such as Maroon 5, Phantom Planet and local labels such as Drive-Thru Records, Fearless Records, and various local talents. Through her extensive networking she was able to find a niche by using her talent to provide voice lessons to bands.

Post-high school, Renee graduated from the Musician's Institute; Vocal Institute of Technology (VIT). During her time at the Musician's Institute she continued to share her love for music while working with bands such as Underminded, As Night Falls, Ambriel and Wiggum. She also led the backup vocals for the Hard Rock live performance workshop.

Today, Renee is the on-call vocal coach for NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood; a world class recording and production facility that has produced some of the world's best artists such as Incubus, Linkin Park, No Doubt, P.O.D., and many more. In this role she has worked with two Monster Uproar Festival winning bands; Mindset Evolution and The Chuck Shaffer Picture Show along with Anchored and Girl on Fire.

Her most recent work was with Eyes Set to Kill prior to their album recording and she prepared the Butcher Babies for their tour, opening for Marilyn Manson and Mayhem Festival. Not only does Renee work behind the scenes with the music industry, but she is also active in creating her own music.

Her credits include singing 'Call Me Maybe,' for an iPhone app commercial, vocals on a few EDM tracks and her repertoire includes: rock, pop, hardcore, and much more. She has also worked as a singing telegram for birthdays and various life celebrations. Renee is currently working on her own release, along with producer Justin Bohorquez on vocals for a developing project called GHOSTDANCE.

As a singer, songwriter and vocal coach,Renee is able to detect and highlight the gifts within each student and provide a positive environment to discover and develop their unique talents. She works with her students on tone, texture, dynamics and connecting with the story the song tells. Every student has a personal connection with music and she takes pride in providing the perfect environment to explore each students individual musical aspirations. She believes that vocal performance is more than just technique and she is passionate about creating a vocal adventure or story and most of all having fun. Renee's passion for music comes from a place of sentiment and she believes that music is an escape from the world and a language all on its own.
