One lesson with him reveals a vibrant musician with a whole lot of talent. His love for music soared when he started middle school and had the opportunity to play guitar. Instructor: Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Keys, Drums Congas Originally from Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico, Aldo moved to Houston 8 years ago. When he was very young, he watched as his father played the guitar. He soon began asking his father for one so he could learn to play. After a long wait, his father surprised him with a guitar he had purchased for $10 from a bus station in Mexico. Aldo was elated and never looked back. As he started middle school, Aldo found that there was not a guitar program offered, so he began playing percussion and keys in Jazz band. Through Jazz band, he learned a great deal of theory that he has applied to all of his music. He enjoys knowing the 'why' behind the music and loves providing the rhythm to someone else's lead. After high school, Aldo joined the music program at Lone Star College where he continued his Jazz training and was exposed to all types of music styles.
